SplinkMe wants in on YOUR BAND'S next cool event, and it's worth $1000 to us!  Create a profile and post your band's upcoming events that can be used by a business for a great sponsorship opportunity.  We will select and sponsor the best and most innovative idea for a SplinkMe sponsorship campaign.  

This is a great opportunity to gain exclusive, early entry into SplinkMe.com.  We are currently private, but are allowing access during SXSW, specifically for this campaign.  Public launch coming soon.

Q: What happens if my band isn't selected?
A: Don't worry!  The purpose of SplinkMe is to link your Band with Business sponsorship.  Even if your Band isn't selected for the SplinkMe Branding Campaign, the profile you've created and the opportunities you've posted will be visible and available to businesses searching through the artist database for sponsorship opportunities.

IT'S EASY TO DO!!!

  1. SIGN UP: CREATE A COMPLETE PROFILE, that allows us, and potential business sponsors, to learn more about your Band.  The more info that sponsors have about your Band, the better chance you have of being sponsored.
  2. POST AN OPPORTUNITY (CLICK "MY PROFILE").  Post a sponsorship opportunity that tells us about your upcoming events and a creative way to visibly include a Business Sponsor.
  3. WAIT FOR SPLINKME TO SELECT YOUR BAND!!!  Entries will be accepted until April 11th, 2010.  The winning band will be notified April 18th, 2010!

OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER ONLY

  1. HOW TO ENTER: THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO ENTER: Beginning on March 16, 2010 through April 11, 2010, log on to www.splinkme.com, click on the icon for the "Band For Branding Campaign", and follow the on-screen entry instructions to create and complete a profile telling SplinkMe.com how entrant would include and promote a business sponsor through an event.

  2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to residents of the 50 United States and D.C., who are 18 years of age and older as of March 16, 2010, except for employees of SplinkMe.Com ("Sponsor")("Judges")(Campaign Party) or its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies, agents, members, assigns and members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household. Void where prohibited.

  3. Selected Band: One posted event will be selected, determined by the Band profile sponsorship opportunity created by each entry, on or following April 12, 2010 from among all eligible entries received from each Band, to award a total of One sponsorship contract. Selections will be conducted by the Founders of Splinkme.com. Odds of selection will depend upon the number of eligible entries received for the drawing. The selected Band will be notified through the website and/or email on April 18, 2010, and will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and a Publicity Release within five (5) days of attempted delivery or Sponsorship Contract will be forfeited and an alternate band selected. The return of any sponsorship contract/sponsorship contract notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and an alternate band will be selected. Selected band’s bandmates must also timely sign and return Liability and Publicity Releases.

  4. Campaign: One Sponsorship Contract: a $1000 sponsorship/promotional contract. Campaign selection consists of a sponsorship endorsement contract between SplinkMe.com and selected band, for which selected band will be paid $1000 upon completion of sponsorship event. Dates of performance of contract by selected band are at Sponsor's sole discretion. If selected band cannot perform the event or actions proposed by band in band’s campaign entry profile, sponsorship contract will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate band may be selected, time permitting. Meals and other travel expenses are not included as part of sponsorship contract. In order to claim sponsorship contract, additional releases and/or waivers of liability may be required by any applicable sanctioning body as applicable. Total value of contract is $1,000. Limit one sponsorship contract. No substitution, transfer, or assignment of sponsorship contract is permitted by selected band. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a sponsorship contract of equal or greater value. Sponsorship Contract will be awarded.

  5. GENERAL RULES: All income taxes resulting from acceptance of sponsorship contract are the responsibility of selected band. By entering campaign, entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of Judges, which shall be final in all matters. By accepting sponsorship contract, selected band agrees to hold Campaign Parties, its affiliates, and each of their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, members, agents and assigns (‘Released Parties') harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use or redemption of sponsorship contract and participation in the campaign. Selected band assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused by participation in this campaign or use or redemption of sponsorship contract. Acceptance also constitutes permission to the Campaign Parties to use selected band’s name, likeness (and biographical information) for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. Released Parties are not responsible for lost or late mail, or for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this campaign, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this campaign. If, in the Judges' opinion, there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the campaign, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the campaign, the Judges reserve the right to modify or terminate the campaign in a manner deemed reasonable by the Judges, at the Judges' sole discretion. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially selected online entrant, entries made by internet will be declared made by the name on the online entry form. All federal and state laws apply.
